Pain Management

Pain is an uncomfortable sensation that signals something may be wrong in your body. When pain persists for several months or more, it is classified as chronic pain. If this pain disrupts your daily activities or interferes with your sleep, it may be time to consult with a healthcare provider.

At Kimball Health Services, our Pain Clinic provides safe, effective, non-narcotic options to manage both chronic and acute pain. We focus on interventional and procedural treatments designed to target the source of pain and improve your quality of life.

Our goal is to help you reduce pain, restore mobility, and return comfortably to your daily activities.

Our Approach to Pain Management

Our pain management team takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to pain care. Whether you are newly injured or living with long-term pain, our team provides thorough evaluation and targeted treatment planning.

Our Pain Clinic operates on a rotating schedule to ensure patients receive both careful assessment and timely procedures.

  • Clinic visits every other week for pain assessment, consultation, and treatment planning.
  • Injection procedures every other week for patients who have been evaluated and have a treatment plan in place.

Treatment plans may include physical therapy coordination, image-guided injections, and other interventional procedures tailored to your specific condition.

We do not manage or prescribe oral pain medications. Our focus is on interventional pain treatments and procedural pain relief options.

Radiofrequency (RF) Ablation Using Avanos COOLIEF

Radiofrequency ablation (RF ablation) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat chronic pain. Using radiofrequency energy, the procedure targets and disrupts specific sensory nerves responsible for sending pain signals. By interrupting these pain pathways, RF ablation may provide long-lasting relief and help improve daily function and quality of life.
