What Our Patients Are Saying

Dr. Wyatt is one of the best surgeons I have ever had. I have a form of Arthritis that is rare…..he took the time to call and discuss it with me plus researched it as well to figure out the best way to do my surgery. He is the kindest most gentle man. Also one of the most intelligent. I will go to him as long as he practices.

- A.

Dr. MacMillan has given me an active lifestyle when I was close to not having any lifestyle. He examined me in the ER & operated on a severely mangled leg the very next morning. He has done 2 back fusions. In EVERY case, his practice of medicine is outstanding.

- M.

This is my second hip replacement in two years. Dr. Karen Wenner and Dr. Mac do an excellent job if you’re having trouble with your bones. Not only are they professional…they are dedicated and compassionate. Every person needs a Dr with a heart.

Frequently
Asked Questions

What orthopedic conditions do you treat?

Our orthopedic experts offer a comprehensive range of services to address a variety of orthopedic & musculoskeletal conditions. This includes:

Do you offer minimally invasive procedures for orthopedic concerns?

Yes, whenever possible, we use minimally invasive surgical techniques to promote faster recovery and less pain for our patients.

What happens during a consultation with an orthopedic specialist?

During your consultation, the doctor will discuss your symptoms and medical history and perform a physical examination. They will then explain your treatment options and answer any questions you may have.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept a variety of insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify if we accept your specific plan.

What should I do if I suspect a sports injury?

If you suspect a sports injury, the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) is a good first step. Stop the activity immediately, apply ice to the injured area for 15-20 minutes at a time, compress the area with a bandage, and elevate it above your heart.

If the pain is severe, seek medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.

How can I manage my arthritis pain?

Management of arthritis pain can include over-the-counter pain relievers, topical medications, physical therapy to improve joint function and strength, and weight loss if needed.

In some cases, injections or minimally invasive procedures may be recommended.  Contact us for an appointment to learn more about your treatment options.

How long will it take for my fracture to heal?

Healing time for fractures varies depending on the severity of the break, the bone involved, and your overall health. Simple fractures may heal within 6-8 weeks, while more complex fractures can take several months.

Your doctor will be able to give you a more specific timeframe based on your individual case.

How long does it take to recover from joint replacement surgery?

While everyone recovers at their own pace, most patients experience significant pain relief and improved mobility within weeks of joint replacement surgery

Formal physical therapy typically begins shortly after surgery to help you regain strength, flexibility, and range of motion in the replaced joint. A full recovery, returning to all your regular activities, can take 3-6 months, depending on the joint replaced and your individual circumstances.
