Our orthopedic experts offer a comprehensive range of services to address a variety of orthopedic & musculoskeletal conditions. This includes:
Yes, whenever possible, we use minimally invasive surgical techniques to promote faster recovery and less pain for our patients.
During your consultation, the doctor will discuss your symptoms and medical history and perform a physical examination. They will then explain your treatment options and answer any questions you may have.
We accept a variety of insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify if we accept your specific plan.
If you suspect a sports injury, the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) is a good first step. Stop the activity immediately, apply ice to the injured area for 15-20 minutes at a time, compress the area with a bandage, and elevate it above your heart.
If the pain is severe, seek medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Management of arthritis pain can include over-the-counter pain relievers, topical medications, physical therapy to improve joint function and strength, and weight loss if needed.
In some cases, injections or minimally invasive procedures may be recommended. Contact us for an appointment to learn more about your treatment options.
Healing time for fractures varies depending on the severity of the break, the bone involved, and your overall health. Simple fractures may heal within 6-8 weeks, while more complex fractures can take several months.
Your doctor will be able to give you a more specific timeframe based on your individual case.
While everyone recovers at their own pace, most patients experience significant pain relief and improved mobility within weeks of joint replacement surgery.
Formal physical therapy typically begins shortly after surgery to help you regain strength, flexibility, and range of motion in the replaced joint. A full recovery, returning to all your regular activities, can take 3-6 months, depending on the joint replaced and your individual circumstances.
At Kimball Health Services, your orthopedic well-being is our priority. Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons and nursing staff offer a full range of nonsurgical and surgical treatment options for your orthopedic concerns.
