A Medicare Wellness Visit is a preventive health benefit Medicare provides for its beneficiaries aged 65 and older. The visit is part of Medicare Part B coverage and is not the same as a routine physical examination or an annual physical.
The Medicare Wellness Visit focuses on creating or updating a personalized prevention plan to help prevent disease and disability based on your current health and risk factors.

Medicare beneficiaries are eligible for the Medicare Wellness Visit. This includes anyone aged 65 and older enrolled in Medicare Part B. You can receive a Medicare Wellness Visit once every 12 months as a Medicare beneficiary. This allows for regular check-ins for preventive care.
